The Migratory Bird Conservation Fund was established through the Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Act of 1934. Individuals or birding festivals can make tax-deductible donations directly to the Fund that join proceeds from Duck Stamp sales to conserve new wetlands and grasslands adjoining our National Wildlife Refuges. If each of the 18 million birders in the USA donated $25 each year to the the Fund, that would pay for approximately 300,000 acres of wetland and grassland habitat annually.
Mindful Birding has given an additional $500 to the Fund as a pass-through educational promotion of the direct donation option for "non-consumptive" users.
To make a donation, send your check to the following address and write "for Migratory Bird Conservation Fund" in the memo line.
